Lincoln, UK, September 2025 – She’s In Business is proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for three categories at the upcoming Lincolnshire Marketing Awards 2025, taking place this September at the Hilton, Lincoln.

This recognition is particularly meaningful because our story is deeply rooted in Lincolnshire.

When Dr. Stephanie Anne Wilson first arrived in Lincoln with her baby son, she was a young mother rebuilding her life while navigating the challenges of undiagnosed neurodiversity. With the support of her perinatal consultant and a formal diagnosis from Lincolnshire-based organisation ADHD360, Stephanie finally began to understand herself and from that moment, her journey transformed.

She went on to complete a PhD in Business Administration, researching the correlation between neurodiversity and entrepreneurial success, and went on to found She’s In Business.

What began in Lincoln has now grown into a government-registered learning provider and not-for-profit women’s business university, delivering accredited CPD business training and a triple-accredited MBA programme in partnership with Singapore Business School. Today, She’s In Business supports women in more than 85 countries to build businesses, create wealth, and drive global gender equality.

Yet, while our impact is global, our roots and gratitude remain local. She’s In Business could not have grown without the incredible support of the Lincolnshire business community, including:

  • Emma Easton (Business Bollox), whose marketing strategy guidance was pivotal in shaping our early growth.

  • Rebecca Heald, a trailblazer in the male-dominated construction industry, who once quietly supported Dr. Wilson during a local business event, allowing her to remain present despite sensory overwhelm.

  • Mark Jarvis (Lincoln Business Club), whose mentorship helped turn Stephanie’s vision into a sustainable, scalable structure that enabled She’s In Business to grow far beyond its original expectations.

Empowered or Exploited? The Dark Side of Women’s Business Events

Speaking on the shortlisting, Dr. Wilson said:

“It is a privilege to be shortlisted in the city that gave me and my children a home and the support to be myself. Lincoln has been the creative space where I could innovate and build something that future generations of women will benefit from something that will improve the economic position of women globally.”

We are proud to stand alongside so many brilliant businesses being recognised at this year’s awards. This honour not only celebrates our work, but also shines a light on the power of community, collaboration, and the incredible female entrepreneurs in Lincolnshire.
