Why 70% of Women Entrepreneurs Are Hungry for Strategy, Not Just Support

New data reveals a global pattern, women are ready to scale, but they’re still underserved. She’s In Business™ is rising to meet the demand with strategic infrastructure, not just inspiration.
According to the Bharat Women Aspiration Index (BWAI) 2025,
70% of women entrepreneurs want to upskill in finance, marketing, and digital strategy.
And yet, more than 86% are not part of any business network, and over 52% require male permission to access funding.
This is not a lack of talent, it’s a lack of systems.
It’s not ambition that’s missing. It’s access, tools, and mentorship.
A Meeting That Reinforced Our Mission
At the Rajasthan Investor Summit earlier this year, She’s In Business™ had the honour of connecting with the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Pravati Parida, a trailblazer in women’s empowerment and economic reform.
As the first woman Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, and leader of the Mission Shakti initiative, she has helped millions of women rise out of poverty through entrepreneurship and leadership development.
Her commitment to creating systemic change for women aligns powerfully with our global mission at She’s In Business™, to equip women with the skills, structure, and support they need to build sustainable, profitable businesses.
Our conversation made one thing abundantly clear:
Policy and platforms must work hand in hand to create a future where women aren’t just included in the economy, they’re leading it.
What the Numbers Are Really Saying
This year’s BWAI report highlighted:
58% of women want financial and marketing training
Only 14% currently engage in business networking
52% rely on male intermediaries to access credit
This isn’t just an Indian story. It’s a global reflection of how far we still need to go.

Rajasthan is another state in Northern India leading the charge with innovation and, most importantly, women-led businesses. Lalita and Diya Kumari the Princess of Jaipur, the Deputy Chief Minister, both spoke passionately about the importance of promoting female entrepreneurs and supporting women who are pushing boundaries in the business world.
As the founder of She’s in Business, a platform designed to help women build their legacies through entrepreneurship, this was EVERYTHING for me! Women supporting women, big thinking, and breaking moulds, YES, please!
I had the honour of meeting the Hon’ble Chief Minister Mr. Bhajan Lal Sharma, in his speech he spoke about leading the way with the innovation and collaboration Here’s what I’m taking away:
Think outside the box, always, Rajasthan is proving that if you want to innovate, you need to be bold.
