Tracey Montgomery is a teacher with more than 30 years' experience and a specialist in the neurodivergent teen years, based in the Brecon Beacons in Wales. She founded Adulting With The Spectrum, a private community for mums whose neurodivergent teens and young adults are approaching independent life.
She knows this transition from the inside. As a mum of a neurodivergent young person herself, Tracey understands what it is to love your child fiercely and still lie awake wondering whether they will be okay. After years of assessments, school meetings and milestones reached in their own time, independence can feel like the biggest challenge yet.
Her approach combines her experience of supporting young people who don't fit the mainstream with practical tools built for how neurodivergent brains work. Mums come away with a calmer family rhythm, structure their young person can actually use and a plan they believe in. She also shares short, practical videos on her YouTube channel.
